Sometimes I feel like I have nothing to blog about because my life is dull and uninteresting. And that's partially true. For instance, dull things about my life today:
1. My neighbor's stupid beagle woke me up at 6:30 again. Apparently I should get a small yappy dog instead of an alarm clock.
2. I ate three (homemade) brownies and immediately regretted it.
3. My room really needs to be cleaned.
I am in a very random mood and this is my blog so I shall be random. Huzzah!
I want to travel. I watched the bachelorette last night (I know, completely lame-o but I like it). They're traveling around the world this season... specifically, they've been to Iceland and Istanbul, Turkey. The people in Turkey looked a lot like my boyfriend, actually. Same features and complexion. Anyway.
Neither Iceland nor Turkey are places I've ever had on my travel wishlist. They've earned spots now.
I love being online while I watch the bachelorette. It's such a ridiculous show, and my cousin and I rag on it so much. Secretly (okay, not so secretly), we can't get enough of the jerkface bachelor drama.
At my new job, I'm working on a project that requires me to read a lot of wedding blogs. I see a lot of ideas that I try to mentally log for approx. 3 years from now (but who's counting).
Ideas I saw today:
-Instead of registering for stuff like dishes and blenders, you can register for your honeymoon. That's awesome. I have dishes. I would much rather have a trip to Tahiti than a silver pie server.
-There are some really original invitations out there. I like it when people put a personal touch on things rather than caving to the traditional.
-I am totally having a ping pong table at my wedding reception. GREAT idea.
